Nashville Krystal Franchisee Honored As 2008 Krystal Franchisee Of The Year

BJKF LLC Recognized for Its Commitment to Krystal Standards and Operational Excellence
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Krystal Company, the fast food icon and innovator for more than 76 years, named Nashville, Tenn.-based franchise group, BJKF LLC, its 2008 Krystal Franchisee of the Year, an honor given annually to one franchise operator that exceeds a variety of designated requirements.
Owned by Nashville residents John and Rob Jewell, BJKF LLC is being honored for its commitment to Krystal standards, employee training, operational excellence and advancing the Krystal Brand. BJKF owns and operates 10 Krystal restaurants in the Nashville area and has a total of 24 Master Cashiers, a special designation by The Krystal Company that requires certification and recognizes employees for exceptional customer service and handling of cashier duties. All 10 of BJKF’s locations have fully completed Krystal’s modern, new store re-imaging showcasing a number of innovative and stylish design elements both inside and outside.

The Franchisee of the Year award criteria include sales, profit, employee turnover, customer complaints and standards that focus on food preparation and cleanliness. BJKF LLC was chosen from 48 Krystal franchisees based in 11 states. Franchise partners operate 148 of Krystal’s 386 restaurants.
