A Free Year’s Supply of Krystal Hamburgers to Be Given Away to First “Sackful” of Customers in Line at Krystal Opening
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Krystal, the fast food icon famous for its fresh, hot, small, square hamburgers and big taste menu items, will open a new restaurant in East Ellijay on Monday, July 26. Located at 124 Highlands Crossing South, the new eatery will join more than 60 Krystal locations currently in the greater Atlanta market.
To celebrate, Krystal will be giving away a year’s supply of free Famous Krystal hamburgers to the first “Sackful” of guests in line when the new restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. In Krystal jargon, a Sackful refers to an order of 12 Famous Krystal hamburgers, and it will be the first 12 adults, ages 18 and older, who will receive the year’s supply of the Famous Krystals, or specifically, a Sackful of Krystals every week for an entire year.
The state-of-the-art Krystal restaurant in Ellijay will operate under the guidance of established Krystal franchise partner, Ejay Foods, Inc. This will be the second location for Ejay Foods partners and Murray County natives, Danny Ashe and Lisa Stafford, who also operate the Krystal restaurant in Chatsworth, GA.
“We are thrilled to offer a convenient location for Ellijay locals and also expand our presence in the greater Atlanta area – one of Krystal’s largest heritage markets to date,” said Danny Ashe of Ejay Foods, Inc. “Krystal is truly a fast food icon, and Krystal Lovers who are familiar with the Krystal brand know it’s the one place where they can expect a great variety of menu choices served up with great hospitality, all at an unbeatable value.”
Guests dining at the new restaurant will enjoy a refreshing, efficient design that pays homage to the traditional Krystal look while showcasing the company’s modern, new image. Additional restaurant elements will include advanced drive-thru ordering technology, credit card and debit payment options and free Wi-Fi Internet access for guests.
With opening day right in the heart of summer, the Ellijay Krystal will highlight some of its new menu items that are sure to cool guests down while temperatures heat up. Krystal Freezes, the company’s frozen slush drink featuring pure-cane sugar and natural flavorings, and MilkQuakes, a line of real ice cream milkshakes made with premium, all-natural ingredients, are just a few of the refreshing options for guests to enjoy during the opening and for the remaining hot summer days.
The restaurant will also offer its full line-up of signature products that are distinctive in size and shape, delivered fresh and perfect for anytime of the day. Among these popular items includes the famous Krystal Hamburger, served hot off the grill with fresh onions and topped with mustard and a pickle; the Krystal Chik, made with 100% whole breast chicken filet and served on the famous small, square bun; the Krystal Pup, a Krystal-sized hot dog served with or without chili; and Breakfast Scramblers, a line-up of traditional plate breakfasts stacked smartly in a bowl and conveniently enjoyed scrambled up or layer by layer.
