Krystal Heats Things Up This Winter With New Spicy Southern Chik Basket with Fiesta Waffle Fries
Spicy Southern Chik features light, crispy breading just like mom used to make, with a spicy kick that brings the heat from the very first bite
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – As temperatures begin to dip, The Krystal Company is turning the thermostat up on its guests’ taste buds with the introduction of a new Spicy Southern Chik Basket served with Fiesta Waffle Fries.
A spicy, crispier variation of Krystal’s popular Chik sandwich, the Spicy Southern Chik features a 100% whole breast chicken filet marinated with classic hot sauce flavors of spicy cayenne peppers, tangy vinegar and other savory seasonings, all coated with a light and crispy southern style breading. Made fresh to order, the Spicy Southern Chik is topped with a pickle and mayonnaise and served on a freshly steamed Krystal bun.
Available systemwide starting Nov. 17, the combo is served to guests in a basket that includes two Spicy Southern Chiks along with a generous helping of spicy, seasoned Fiesta Waffle Fries and a medium beverage. The complete meal is available for a suggested retail price of $4.39.

The Spicy Southern Chik Basket with Fiesta Waffle Fries is the latest of a number of new product offerings at Krystal that complement the company’s core menu items.
